Program Highlights
This program provides students with the essential skills in the automotive field in preparation for the ASE certification. Students gain hands-on experience by working with automotive equipment and diagnostic tools, learning about industry standard safety rules, service information, career strategies, and the importance of job performance.

Certification
Students will receive Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in one or more areas upon successful completion of ASE exam held at NMSU twice a year

Articulation
Successful completion of select program courses will earn college credit at Doña Ana Community College.
