Program Highlights
The program serves as an introduction to the hospitality industry. Classes cover nutrition basics, culinary history, safety and sanitation, food preparation techniques, commercial kitchen equipment and procedures, plate presentation and service guidelines.

Student Organization
FCCLA is a national career and technical organization for students in Family and Consumer Sciences classes, and is the only in-school organization with the family as its central focus. Community Service and Competitive opportunities are available locally, state wide and nationally.


Articulation
Successful completion of select program courses will earn college credit at Doña Ana Community College.
